Savannah is ONE!

How is it possible that my little baby is O-N-E!?

We have had such an amazing year. I made a slideshow to play during her birthday party.  I thought I would just pick a couple pictures from each month, but choosing a few pictures is soooo difficult.  If you have 15 minutes to spare (haha), you can basically watch Savannah grow up over the past year.  (I don't blame anyone that skips this video, it got a little out of control.)

Cookie Cake is always a good choice!
Being goofy with Grandma and Grandpa
Savannah was good at pulling the tissue paper out of the bags

 Better than any present!
 Birthday candles are serious business.
Enjoying more sugar in one sitting than she has had all her life!

Savannah loves her best friend, Molly!
Taking her new trike for a test drive.  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!

How cute is that headband!? Thanks Rachael!
 My favorite duo!
Playing with her new doll.  Thanks Ean!
Savannah loves her Grandpa!
I don't know how year 2 could possibly be any better!

Nana Gail in Town!

We were incredibly blessed to have a long weekend with Nana Gail.  One on one time is always the best!
Showing Nana our favorite areas

Such a stinker
We had some beautiful weather and got to enjoy lots of backyard time.
Snuggles with Nana before bedtime

Our little Viking

Cheering on the Vikings! We love our outdoor theater.  When Savannah went to bed, the three of us got to enjoy a movie outside.
We surprised Nana with tickets to Savannah's first Royals game.  It was a warm one (90 degrees!), but we had lots of fun!!
Auntie Katie got to join in on the fun too!
Our little Slugger!

Savannah even got featured on the jumbotron! The camera couldn't resist a cute baby!
Such a fun crew to enjoy Savannah's first game!

Sunflower Field

Labor Day weekend was packed with one adventure after another.  A highlight of our weekend was driving to Lawrence to see the most beautiful sunflowers.  About 40 minutes from our house, a family planted 40 acres of sunflowers and allows anyone and everyone onto their property to enjoy their hard work.  It has become so popular, that the police had to shut it down on Monday due to traffic getting backed up on the highway.  Luckily for us, we went Sunday morning after church.  These pictures are great, but they don't do justice to the beauty we saw!

 Savannah loved the flowers!

Gotta love self timer! I brought my tripod out to the field with us and set up shop.

I'd say Tom is a pretty good photographer.

These pictures seriously do not do these flowers justice!

Our happy (almost one year old) girl! How can it possibly be September already?
Buddies!

I have other pictures and videos from the past few weeks, but I just had to share these pictures.  I'll post the others soon.
