November has been a bit crazy for us with all the activities and trips. Tom went to Minnesota for deer hunting. Then I went to the Ozarks for a girls weekend of cards and shopping. The next weekend Tom was gone again in St. Louis for a wedding. Just when you think the traveling is over, it's Thanksgiving so Tom and Savannah left me by my lonesome to celebrate in Minnesota. To say that Tom and I have suffered in our quality time spent together would be an understatement. I am definitely looking forward to life slowing down a bit once this little babe makes his or her appearance. Tom gets two weeks off and I couldn't be more excited to have him home with us.
Enjoy these pictures from the last month!
Savannah enjoys long walks with her baby and stroller
This girl has a mind of her own. She has strong opinions and will let you know. Some days she is NOT into pictures.
We met up with friends at the Deanna Rose pumpkin patch. Savannah clearly wanted nothing to do with a group picture.
Savannah looks forward to my doctor appointments. She likes giving each other check ups before the doctor comes in.
I also have the best doctor ever! She lets Savannah measure my belly, use all her fun gadgets and keeps her entertained while we are there.
Savannah definitely knows the key to getting me to let her watch TV. "Want to snuggle momma?" She knows I can't resist a good snuggle with her.
Our Annual LaNoue Family Halloween Party was another success. I know I am biased but I think Tom and Savannah should have won the costume contest. I guess we have next year!
Gumball machine and Synchronized Swimmer
Family Picture - Mom was a Christmas tree and Dad was Charlie Brown from "The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown"
Curious George and Elsa
The whole LaNoue Family
The competition was fierce this year. Everyone did a great job on costumes.
Cousins
Enjoying documenting this growing belly.
(I am pretty sure this is the last one we took. We have missed a few weeks, oops!)
Taking advantage of the last days of Halloween.
Cleaning out the pumpkin with Grandma.
My sister had her annual BYOP (bring your own pumpkin)
She started this tradition back in high school and we haven't missed a year yet. This was a small year but always fun! I was excited to have Savannah join in on the carving tradition.
(Se had to squat down in the picture because I was doing that. Little copy cat.)
Hanging out with her buddy. She is obsessed with Ean. He can push her to the ground and she laughs. He can do no wrong in her eyes!
My little monkey
We did some early trick or treating at Joan's house. It's always fun when we are together!
We were getting ready to head out to run errands and Savannah said she needed to get something. Nothing like bringing 2 dolls, a water bottle, and her mini pumpkin with us.
My favorite people - Tom took her trick or treating while I stayed home and passed out candy.
It was fun to see them together. I always get to do the fun stuff with her since I am home all day. I was glad they could enjoy this father/daughter time.
Savannah discovered painting and asks to do it everyday! I love her creative side.
Different day, same activity.
This made me laugh. Savannah and I were talking about what we were thankful for. I asked her what makes her heart happy and she said mom and dad right away (yay!) I added "Savannah". Then she remembered her friend Evie, but what got me was what she said next.
"Fruit snacks."
That's what makes her heart happy. Oh goodness!! She cracks me up.
I made it through the entire fall softball season! I definitely didn't think I would make it, but I did.
The past two seasons, we have met the same team in the championship and lost both times.
The fall season was no different. We met our same opponents, but this time we were victorious!!!
Seal Team Sticks are #1 again!
(Please notice how everyone is dressed for the terribly cold weather we had, and then there is Tom...in shorts. He's nuts!)
Savannah and I were near Tom's office one morning so we stopped by and dropped off a drink for me. He's always so proud to show off his little girl.
Tom's Aunt Rita made Savannah this adorable tutu. She puts this on all the time and loves to pretend she is a ballerina.
We were shopping at Michaels and Savannah was so excited to see Santa.
Buddies!
Helping me rake leaves.
Savannah spent the morning with a friend while I went to visit another friend who just had a baby. She loves spending time with Lindsey because they go to Target and get treats.
Playing the piano with Anna, my cousin's daughter.
Anna passes her clothes down to Savannah when she out grows them. The girls were so excited to have a fashion show with as many articles of clothing they could put on.
(Savannah has two skirts UNDER the dress she is wearing haha)

Thank goodness for technology so I could me baby while she was in Minnesota for thanksgiving.
I hear that these two got along really well over Thanksgiving. Yay!
Sand.
I can't stand it.
Normally I avoid it at all costs. Savannah has probably played in it three times in her life.
Monday we went to a new park. She saw the sand and I couldn't tell her no. I knew it was going to be the last nice day for a very long time. We've been having an abnormally warm November.
It was 68 degrees in the afternoon.
In celebration of the beautiful weather and the coldness to come, I let her play in the sand.
She loved it.
She enjoys having ornament scavenger hunts.
My little dinner helper. She always wants to stand next to me and be involved in all the cooking!
Ok that was a lot in one post. Sorry if you had to take a break in the middle. I will try to stay on top of this now, but let's be serious...this baby is coming soon so that probably won't happen.
I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving and enjoy the upcoming Advent season.
