Spring Showers

Rain, rain, go away! Savannah and I want to go outside and play!

We have had a lot of rain over the past few weeks.  Thunderstorms and very strong winds have been coming through.  We were supposed to go to our first Royals game of the season last night, but the game got canceled.

Savannah turned 8 months old on Wednesday.  She has quite the personality.  She recently started saying mama and dada.  She'c connected mama to me, but I am not sure she knows Tom and dada are the same.

She has two, adorable little teeth on the bottom.
Her little giggle is the best!

Sometimes she crawls on her knees and sometimes she likes to go bear style and get up on her feet.

Anyone want to come up with a caption for the picture below?

Savannah loves standing in the door and watching the neighborhood.
Showing love for her dad's team!

Bath Time - she loves the water!

Tom took Monday and Tuesday off.  He was supposed to be in a golf tournament on Monday but it got rained out.  He still managed to get some Top Golf in with his friends.

Tuesday was fun to wake up and play as a family.  I had plans to meet some old coworkers for lunch so Tom and Savannah got some one on one time together while I went out.

This is the face of a guilty girl.  She knows we don't play with cords (even though she would LOVE to).

I can't remember if I posted this already.  How adorable is that hat!?
Those rolls! Love her!

Last weekend we went to the Turkey Creek Festival near our house.  Savannah got to look at the goats and other animals.

Trying on her new dress from her great aunt Lisa.
Joerger, party of 3
She can't wait to play baseball in Joan's backyard with the boys!
My favorite people!

Picture catch up

I'm a little slow with my update. Oops! Here are a bunch of random pictures from the past week.
Morning play time is our favorite!
About 50% of my pictures are blurry because this chick never sits still!
Not sure how she managed it, but she pulled the tag off the rug. She loves tags!
The first thing she does with her new doll is poke the eyes. Good thing that wasn't a real baby.

Exhausted from watching the middle school play. She did a great job in the audience!
Working in feeding herself. Not sure how much is actually getting consumed.
Playing outside, waiting for dad to come home from Phoenix (another week of working on the road).
I think she likes me.
Hanging out at Joan's. Savannah stole her seat when she got up and thought she was very funny.
Hanging out with Hannah before she was off to her play. I got to watch her perform on Sunday. She was wonderful!
We had brunch this weekend to celebrate The boys' birthdays. Savannah is so blessed to have amazing kids to look up to!
Chillin with grandma and grandpa while I watched Hannah's play and Tom played softball.

She loves pulling the grass.
Always so happy when she wakes up. Why can't we all feel like this in the morning??
