Park Time, at last!

When we get nice weather, we have to take full advantage of it.
Savannah loves taking rides in the wheel barrow.  When she is walking around the yard with Tom and catches a glimpse of her favorite chariot, she goes running!

Monday was one of those gorgeous days that reminds you, spring is coming, be patient!

We went to the park (along with every other family in Overland Park).  It was fun to see everyone out.  You can tell people have been cooped up too long.
Savannah stayed at this spot (picture below) for a long time.  She loves watching the kids run around, but wasn't quite ready to join them.

Dinner is always entertaining, especially when Savannah has yogurt.  She hasn't mastered the lady like way of eating that yet.

Savannah loves reading books with Tom after dinner.  It's good for them to have some one on one time before bed.

Thursday, we made it back to the library.
Savannah found the raccoon puppet (that has been touched by countless kids and probably never washed) and wouldn't let it go.  We even had to ask the librarian if she would put the raccoon down for a nap so we could leave.
Friday, we had a girls afternoon with my sister and mom.  We started the special day with lunch at The Cheesecake Factory.  We are such creatures of habit.  We order the same thing every time (avocado egg rolls and a Santa Fe salad, all to split...then cheesecake, of course!)
After lunch, we took Savannah home for a nap.  My dad came over and sat with Savannah while she slept and then the big girls went to work on some pottery.
My mom takes her students to this clay studio every week and is always talking about going.  Well, we finally did it!  They have open studio hours and you can come in and create whatever you want! It's a little overwhelming to have so much freedom, but we all ended up creating some cool stuff.
I made this jar to hold all our markers/pens/pencils in the kitchen.  Hopefully it turns out.  We have to go back next week to glaze our pieces.
There was one other person there, but other than that, we had the place to ourselves!
Miss Savannah coming down this morning for some breakfast.  We love when she wakes up in a good mood (that is not always the case.)

Happy Saturday! Enjoy the weekend!
