Mary Grace is back! Only for 2 days, but we were so excited to have her. Savannah loves her so much and was truly on her best behavior while she was here. I guess that means I need her more often!
She was pretty proud of herself for eating the apple like a big girl.
These girls!!
Savannah needed everyone's attention so we could read us a story.
Hello Big eyes! Love you!
Savannah and her buddies!
Madison and I were enjoying some solo time with the other two took naps.
I managed to get about 30 minutes of "me time" while all three napped on Friday
One of our favorite activities during Lent is stations of the cross. Our schedules have worked out to go every Friday this year. It's my favorite way to end the week.
Savannah is also a big fan of the fish fry afterwards.
Packing up the whole crew!
Savannah thought she was pretty cool getting to sit all the way in the back.
2 babies, 1 toddler, and 2 adults - Would you believe me when I tell you we were actually EARLY for stations!? Not to toot my own horn, but I was impressed.
It is slowly but surely turning into spring. We get little previews here and there. Saturday was one of those days. It was pretty windy, but we still got out and enjoyed some time in the park. Between everyone's naps, it's difficult to find time to get out of the house. We brought Savannah's lunch with us so that we could be gone during lunch and then go straight to nap when we got home. Our visit was short, but sweet. We cannot wait for more days like this!!
{Peanut butter sandwiches - Thank goodness she likes these. She will be getting a lot this summer when she enjoys her lunches on the go so we can get out of the house.}
{Savannah wanted to wear the crown she made at Kaleidoscope the day before.}
{Can you find the baby?}
{I love when I can capture a sweet smile from our babe}
...And just like that, she rolled over in her crib!! I thought it was a fluke the first time, but she keeps doing it. She's growing so fast!
Daylight Savings Time was my friend this year! Monday morning, I realized I didn't change Savannah's clock so her green light would actually be going off at 8:00. I didn't even give it a second to leave it. I enjoyed that extra hour of sleep!
A morning bath was needed, however, because this little nugget filled her diaper, pjs, and sheets. (Just #1, not #2)
Oh well, the extra hour of sleep made it all ok!!
The frog chair is back! This is my favorite baby seat. I love that she can watch what's going on.
She loves watching me cook and clean the kitchen.
I just love her big eyes! (and multiple chins haha)
My mom have me this "Magic Sand" when Savannah was a baby. I organized Savannah's shelves when Kaylee took her last week and found this. I can't stand regular sand, but I was willing to give this a try.
It will definitely be an outdoor activity next time, but it could have been a lot worse. Savannah enjoyed it and I was able to make dinner, so it was a win all around...minus the clean up haha.
She is also on a "Fancy Dress" kick. Every morning she asks for a fancy dress. They may spend an extended amount of time in the laundry just so we don't have the battle of the dresses every morning.
So much spit up. So much drooling. Bibs all day. Everyday.
Parents night out - Thanks to our friends Keith and Becca. They got married last weekend at the Boulevard Brewery. It was an awesome venue with an even better view of our beautiful city!
{Benedictine Friends}
The last time this whole crew got together, there were three of us still pregnant. Things have sure changed in the last few months.
(We all had girls! Can't wait to watch these three little ladies grow up together.)
{Grandma painted a Frozen shirt for her. She didn't mind that it was 3 sizes too big}
{THIS NEVER HAPPENS! We watched The Lion King for the first time and Savannah wanted to snuggle with up Tom. We were both a bit tired from our late night out}
{I am trying to take more pictures with my girls. I am always the one behind the camera.}
Thursday was a true gift! Kaylee took Savannah for the morning and I had 5 hours all to myself. Well, almost - I still had Madison, but she slept for the majority of the morning.
I got to enjoy HOT coffee and eggs. Sometimes I forget that eggs and toast are supposed to be warm when you eat them haha.
After my peaceful breakfast, I went to the basement to organize Savannah's toys into separate boxes. My hope is that I can rotate the boxes every few days so we don't have so many toys upstairs.
So far, so good!!
While I was organizing, Kaylee was completely spoiling Savannah!
They got donuts on the way back to Kaylee's house.
Cookie Time! I told Kaylee she was very brave for letting Savannah use the hand mixer all by herself. I would have guessed the batter would be everywhere. She said Savannah did a great job!
Such a proud little baker! (And the cookies were delicious!!!)
Story time with her buddy! Oh how we have missed our little Mary Grace!
Friday morning, my mom's group met at Kaleidoscope. It's a place where kids have complete creative freedom to create whatever they want from the many supplies they have out.
Making special notes for Dad.
She loves to paint!
I love Savannah's little mind. We were reading her bible and she loves looking at pictures of Mary pregnant. She told me she wished should could have Jesus in her belly. Oh sweet girl!
It's wild to see how fast Madison has grown since we took these pictures. I think she was 11 days old when we took these. Our photographer took Savannah's and now Madison's pictures. So sweet!
