We flew into Minnesota on Thursday evening. Kaylee and Colby drove from KC and made it into Victoria at about the same time we did. The kids all got about an hour to play and then off to bed. While the little ladies slept, the women chit chatted in the living room, while the men took their conversation to the kitchen. It resembled a middle school dance with the genders separated. Quality time and good conversation is never far when we all get together.
Friday morning, Tom, Reid, and Colby piled in the car with Libby and Sally and began their trek up north for deer hunting weekend.

Kaylee, Jackie and I stayed back with Emma and Savannah for a day of relaxation. We made it to a small town with cute boutique shops. The weather could not have been more perfect! You can't always say that in November!

{Savannah loved sliding into Emma's arms}
Savannah and Emma are quite a pair. Savannah is always trying to keep up with Emma (and on occasion can get a little aggressive with her). There were lots of hugs and love between the two.
{Capturing a picture with both their faces in focus proved to be very difficult}

Saturday morning, Kaylee and I packed in the car again (with Savannah) and went to Maria's for the evening. Our visit was short, but jam packed with family time. We even got a round of Wist (a card game) in after the girls went to bed.

{Savannah loved that Mary was the perfecting hugging size}

They're back!
