The original plan was for everyone to open their gifts when we got home from church, but it was getting pretty close to bed time, and as you can see from our attempt at a family picture, Savannah wasn't having it. This chick knows when it is time to go to bed and she will let you know.
Savannah attempted to open a present or two but it wasn't worth the drama that came along with it, so we put her to bed and then everyone else continued with their evening.
{The cutest family of three}
Now that I am typing all this up, I realized the next pictures are actually from Christmas Eve day. Not that anyone cares about the order but, there it is.
{Once again, Savannah didn't feel like doing what the rest of the gals were doing so she got left out.}
{How precious! Oldest and Youngest...but not for long. We have 3 babies coming soon in the family}
Maria and Sarah organized some fun Minute to Win it games. We had to drop candy canes on ribbon that was strung between two chairs, pick up marshmallows with chop sticks, and the group favorite, shaking bells out of a Kleenex box that was tied to someones waist. (I really show have taken some video). The Joerger women came out victorious! Winner Winner chicken dinner!
Savannah was kept entertained by the drawer of silverware.
On the 26th, The Joerger clan battled the icy/blowing/snowy weather to check out the after Christmas sales at Target. Gotta stock up on Christmas wrapping paper for next year!
Then we all went bowling in the afternoon. I might have been the high score (both games). Why don't we bowl more often!?
{Papa kept a good eye on the two youngest}
We had a wonderful, family filled weekend. We can't wait to go back in Feb!
