Merry Minnesota Christmas

Where did 2016 go!?  I can't believe it is already the 2nd day of Jan.  I've got a bit to catch up on from the last few weeks.  

Before we went to MN for Christmas, Savannah got to hang out with two different friends.  

I asked Ean what he was doing in these pictures and he said he was "helping Savannah hold her head up and smile." Savannah just sat there and took it.  These two crack me up together!

 Evie spent the day with us while her daycare was closed for Christmas.  I became quite aware that Savannah struggles to share HER toys.  We usually go to friends' homes to play and she does fine. Well, we were on Savannah's turf and suddenly she wanted to play with any toy Evie had.  Sharing with friends has become Savannah's 2017 New Years Resolution :)

On the Thursday before Christmas, we hit the road at 4:30 am.  We wanted to try the early start with Savannah and see if she would sleep.  All in all, the trip was a success.  We made it to Minneapolis before lunch time, walked around the Mall of America for a while to tire Savannah out and then jumped back in the car for the final few hours.

Sledding was the first activity on the Christmas Weekend to-do.  Thank goodness Aunt Maria could hook us up with some warm clothes.
