Cayden's Baptism in Des Moines

On our way home from our week spent in Minnesota, we spend the night in Des Moines to catch up old friends.  Rachel (I played volleyball with her in college) and her husband Jason live there with their new baby Cayden.
Months ago, Rachel and Jason surprised us by asking us to be their baby's Godparents. To say I was honored was a complete understatement.  She planned the date of the baptism around our MN trip.  We really appreciated it!
Sunday morning, Savannah was up before anyone else (no shock there).  We had run out of diapers so we made a quick Walmart run before the day got started.  When we returned, everyone was still sleeping so we enjoyed the beautiful weather and watch some Daniel Tiger on the back patio.
Savannah was in full "Vacation Hangover" state.  Somewhere during the homily, Savannah passed out (hard) and slept the rest of mass away.  She hasn't done that since her infant days.  I didn't hate holding her, but man, she's getting heavy!
She was a little heater while sleeping and her hair was getting curlier and curlier while she slept.
 Friends and our babies!
Welcome to the Catholic church Cayden Joseph! We love you and your parents!
 Our {happy} little God son!
Savannah loves any baby she can get her hands on.
