It has been so much fun watching Savannah and Madison together. I knew Savannah would be a good big sister, but I also figured the novelty of Madison would eventually disappear...nope!
Savannah loves when I bring Madison into her room in the morning or after nap time. She acts like she hasn't seen her sister in years. It is adorable to watch the reunion!
How did I survive without my little helper the first time around. Savannah is so good at bringing me wipes, diapers, burp rags, whatever I need. She truly makes my days easier, and that is something I wasn't expecting.
Savannah has also taken to nursing her babies. This took all of one day for her to figure out. It's so cute to see her try to feed her baby.
Pretty in Pink!

Snuggle Sisters
She has been making tents every day. She loves enjoying her snack or coloring in her tent.
We went in for a check up at 3 weeks.
Madison weighed in at 10 pounds 6 ounces (95th percentile). I can't remember how long she was but I know that was the 95th percentile too. I think she measured 21.5 inches.
Two goofball sisters
Friday rolled around and this mama needed to get out of the house. We decided to make Savannah a "car picnic", put her in her PJs and head out to get our dinner. She thought this was the funniest thing. She couldn't stop laughing when we told her what was going to happen. Looks like this needs to happen more often.
My Aunt, Uncle and cousin stopped by this weekend to meet Madison. Savannah obviously stole the show and insisted they come to her room and get on the top bunk with her. Thank goodness no one was hurt in the process.
"Mom, will you take a smile of me."
It cracked me up the way she asked. Sometimes those silly words get a little mixed up.
On Tuesday, our city basically shut down due to the cold temperatures (schools even closed simply because it was cold). Fast forward to Sat and the temps reach 64 degrees. You would have thought it was a summer heat wave. Everyone was out and enjoying the short break in the cold weather. We walked to the park to soak up all the sun we could.
Random picture my sister sent me
I told Savannah she could go outside and play once Daddy came home. It was clearly too cold for me. She got all bundled up and waited for him by the front door. She loves spending time with him!
